Kurdistan Region high- ranking delegation to visit Tehran

 

 

 

A high- ranking delegation of Kurdistan Region is due to arrive in Tehran today to discuss boosting ties between the self- ruling enclave and the Islamic Republic of Iran

Speaking with Kurdpress, Nazim Dabbagh, the representative of Iraqi Kurds in Tehran said Kurdistan Regional Government House and Civil Minister Kamran Omar will head the delegation during its two-day stay in Tehran.

Dabbagh added the delegation aims to boost ties between Erbil and Tehran in line with plans of Dr. Saeedlu, the Iranian vice president during his participation in Erbil Economic Conference.

The draft of an agreement between Iran and Kurdistan Region of Iraq has been prepared and will be signed by Dr. Saeedlu on behalf of Hassan Kazemi Qomi, the Secretary of Iran and Iraq Economic Relations’ Development, Dabbagh said, stressing that the official agreement proves the two lines’ determination to remove hurdles.
