Upon last year, regional challenges and the expand of the regions controlled by ISIS have threatened oil and gas export in the Middle East, so that presently the security of oil and gas transportation has turned to be out one of the most important issues in energy economic concerns.

Nazem Dabbagh the representative of Kurdistan Regional Government in Tehran, talking with the reporter of ILNA News Agency relating the condition of production and export the oil of Kurdistan Region said: last year ISIS’s actions caused problems for Kurdistan Region’s oil export, but they have been completely solved. Presently the production of Kurdistan Region’s oil is being increased, but the problem of our oil export results from the drop of price and we have suffered from it.

The representative of KRG in Iran continued: the outcome source of Kurdistan Region has grown crisis for the drop of oil price besides the drop of oil outcome we have faced the increase of military and security expenditure. In a response to a question that ISIS is exporting through a few countries, has ISIS been able to sell oil through Kurdistan? Nazem Dabbagh said: we disapprove the export of oil by ISIS through the Region’s land, it has not occurred so far. The representative of KRG stated: KRG does not inform about exporting of Syria oil by ISIS via Turkey. We cannot approve or disapprove this news. ISIS is exporting of controlled lands’ oil, but this is not fulfilling by Kurdistan land.
